The green paper: Transforming children and young people’s mental health states various ways in which the government proposes to support local areas to implement a cooperative method in order to tackle the early stages of mental health problems as well as improving mental health assistance for children and young people in England.
One of the main aims includes bringing schools and colleges to the forefront in intervening early stages of mental health issues.
